Dear Port Renfrew Families,

Welcome back! We have started our 2026 school year with a super week. Our school is fuller as the District works to make Grades 6, 7, and 8 available for students in Port Renfrew.

Ms Kailee is helping to transition the students to our school. She knows many of the students from her time working in Journey and the Na’ tsa’maht department in prior years. We are continuing the culture of working together, caring for each other, learning, and having fun. We do not know who our third teacher will be at our school yet, but Ms Kailee, Mr. D-J, and this teacher will continue to support our students together. Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition time. We are excited to build this into the community to extend education to Grade 8 in Port Renfrew.

A reminder that our dismissal bell has changed 15 minutes earlier because we have moved our eating time to allow our teachers to support and teach during this time.
